About me
I am an Integrative Trainee Counsellor with over 20 years’ experience in safeguarding and emotionally demanding roles across education and frontline mental health responses.
My work is grounded in empathy, respect and the belief that people can move towards greater understanding and change when they feel genuinely heard and supported.
I am currently undertaking the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and work within the BACP Ethical Framework.
Confidential, non-judgemental counselling where you can explore thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
Bringing substantial professional experience, personal insight and ongoing reflective practice to the therapeutic relationship.
Working together to explore patterns, build understanding and support meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach
My training is integrative, which means I can draw from more than one therapeutic perspective rather than working to a rigid formula.
What matters most to me is the relationship we build: a space where you can speak openly, feel listened to and explore what is happening for you without pressure or judgement.
Where helpful, our work may consider present-day thoughts and feelings, earlier experiences, relationships and patterns that may be influencing life now.
My commitment
I am committed to creating a place where you can feel safe to be yourself. Together, we can explore what matters to you and find a way forward at a pace that feels manageable.
